How Do I Get The Autel Diagnostic Cable To Connect To My Tesla Vehicle?

Autel has newly launched the Autel Tesla Diagnostic Cables Set. One end is connected to the Autel MaxiSYS series flatbed tool Ultra / MS919 / MS909 scanner, and the other end is connected to communicate with Tesla S and Tesla X vehicles to conduct system diagnosis for Tesla vehicles.

Autel MaxiSys supports diagnostics for Tesla S and X vehicles including:

Supports basic functions including reading warning messages, ECU information, real-time data, reading codes and erasing codes, as well as 41 popular special functions including BMS reset alarm, BMS clear contactor pressure index, EPB service mode, brake Deflate and read/write the ID of the TPMS sensor Model X and Model S.

How do I use the Tesla Diagnostic Adapter Cable? (Cable LAN001, Cable CAN001 and Cable CAN002):

Autel Tesla cable set TLAN001, TCAN001 and TCAN002

LAN001

- Connect to Tesla port X861 (located behind the dashboard) to activate factory mode (dashboard must be removed)

- Connects to Tesla port X863 (located below the center control screen) for diagnostics on post-2015/September vehicles.

- Connects to Tesla port X863 (located on the left side of the instrument cluster) for diagnostics on pre-2015/September vehicles.

CAN001

- Connects to Tesla port X437 (located below the center control screen) for diagnostics on post-2015/September vehicles.

CAN002

- Connects to Tesla port X437 (located below the center control screen) for diagnostics on pre-2015/September vehicles.

How do I use the Tesla diagnostic adapter cable?

Inside the package there is a paper that says when and where the cable should be used, where and how to connect it to the Tesla and Autel MaxiSYS Ultra / MS919 / MS909 tablets.
