  • Examine the Serial Data Pin: Ensure the serial data pin in the OBD connector isn’t damaged or disconnected. 
  • Resolve Software Issues: Make sure the scan tool’s software is up to date and compatible with your vehicle.
  • Replace Defective Parts: If diagnostics show issues with the Power Panel or other components, replacement may be necessary.
  • Test the Negative Battery Terminal: Clean the connection to the negative battery terminal for a strong connection. 
  • Consider the Vehicle’s System: The issue may be within the car’s main computer or wiring, which could need professional attention.
