All about the Autel EVO II V3!

Autel Robotics announced the release and sale of the EVO II V3 on 28 October 2022. the EVO II V3 is the third generation version of the EVO II series of drones, and we're excited about the EVO II V3 based on the great success of the first two generations of drones!

Why release the Autel EVO II V3?

Autel EVO II V3

1. Upgrade of the chip

Due to the shortage of energy for chips, there are no more chips to support the EVO II V2 drone and we have chosen a new chip for the EVO II V3 drone. Also, due to the difference in chips, the V2 remote control cannot communicate with the V3 drone, and by the same token, the V1 drone cannot be controlled by the V2 remote control.

2. Upgrade of drone technology

The major update to the EVO II V3 lies in the drone's geotransmission technology. The EVO II V2 drone supports both the 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz bands and supports geotransmission up to 9km. The EVO II V3 is equipped with a new intelligent remote control and supports 900MHz, 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz bands with a long range map transmission of 15km.

How many models does EVO II V3 have?

Currently EVO II V3 supports EVO II Pro V3, Autel EVO II Dual 640T V3, Autel EVO II Pro RTK V3, Autel EVO II Dual 640T RTK V3, Autel EVO II Pro Enterprise V3, Autel EVO II Dual 640T Enterprise V3.

EVO II V3 accessories upgrade

With the chip upgrade of EVO II V3 this time, EVO II V3 ushers in a new remote control accessory. EVO II Pro V3 is equipped with Autel Smart Controller SE, EVO II Dual 640T V3 is equipped with Autel Smart Controller V3, Autel EVO II RTK V3 series is equipped with Autel Smart Controller V3, Autel EVO II Enterprise V3 series is equipped with Autel Smart Controller V3. The EVO II V3 series accessories also ushered in a new generation of Live Deck V2. Live Deck V2 supports multiple devices to view drone videos online and perform real-time video streaming.

Changes of EVO II V3 compared to EVO II V2

EVO II V3 inherits most of the drone body performance and features of EVO II V2. The upgrade performance this time is mainly reflected in the drone camera lens and image transmission distance.

EVO II V3 obviously has a V3 logo on the fuselage.

EVO II Pro V3 uses a 1-inch sensor that supports 20MP photos and 6k/30fps photography. EVO II Pro V3 can use three frequency bands for transmission, with a maximum distance of 15 kilometers for video transmission.

EVO II Dual 640T V3 dual camera support, 8k visible light camera and thermal imaging lens with 640*512 resolution. The 8k visible light camera uses a 1/1.28-inch sensor and supports 50MP photos and 8k/25fps photography. The thermal imaging lens can shoot thermal images with a resolution of 640*512 at 30 frames per second. EVO II Dual 640T V3 vs EVO II Dual 640T has greatly upgraded the camera lens performance, can better view thermal images, and provides a solution.

The Autel EVO II RTK V3 series adopts the prototype of the Autel EVO II V3 UAV, with a new RTK module, and the RTK UAV can be used for a large number of surveying and mapping tasks.

Autel EVO II Enterprise V3 series adopts Autel EVO II V3 drone prototype, replaceable load Loudspeaker, Strobe, Spotlight, optional RTK module. Commercial drones can enter many industries to collaborate and develop efficient aerial solutions.
